Ebay.com has slowed in revenue growth during 2006, and in an effort to increase its performance, Ebay Partners with Google, announced recently. The terms of the agreement are not completely spelled out, but Google and Ebay will share ad revenue. The catch for Ebay is that its partnership with Google is only for ads outside the U.S. Yahoo sealed the deal three months ago for all ads appearing on Ebay within the United States. This puts Ebay in a good spot, especially since Ebay’s stock is looking at its “worst performance in six years”.
